A CHILDREN’S charity is appealing for more volunteers to help in its shop.
Barnardo’s, which supports vulnerable children, needs extra volunteers for its store in Orpington High Street.
There are currently around 120 volunteers who help in the charity’s shops across Kent, giving up an average of seven hours a week.
Barnardo’s retail volunteering manager Nicola Helme said: “We offer the chance to join a small but friendly team who work together to help children turn their lives around.”
She added: “Thanks to our dedication and commitment we are able to continue raising much needed funds in aid of disadvantaged children.”
