THE case against a driver charged with death by dangerous driving over a seven vehicle crash has been dropped.
David Thomas, aged 40, had been charged in connection with the crash which happened between junction three and two of the M25 by Sutton-at-hone on April 26 last year.
Engaged chemistry teacher Nicola Culshaw, aged 33, died in the crash, which involved six cars and a lorry on the approach to Dartford Tunnel.
Mr Thomas, of Nightingale Avenue, Upminster attended Maidstone Crown Court yesterday (May 31) after pleading not guilty at the same court in February.
No case was presented against Mr Thomas and the case was dismissed.
Miss Culshaw, of Cowper Road, Bromley, was head of chemistry at Sydenham High School, and had been due to marry her fiancé last summer.
A Kent Police spokesman confirmed they are not looking for anybody else in connection with the incident.
