Skip fire in Penge thought to be suspicious
FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with a skip full of burning paper near the Homebase store in Penge this morning (June 1).
The crew from Beckenham fire station had to pull out all of the paper from the container and soak it with water after being called to the scene in Meaford Way at around 2am.
It took them around an hour to deal with the incident which is being treated as suspicious.
