TRANSPORT chiefs have announced a major road will close for three months due to a water pipe replacement programme.
The A2210 Brookmill Road, in Deptford, will close on September 11 between Deptford Broadway and St John's Vale while Thames Water repairs and replaces underground pipes.
Diversionary routes will be signposted via Lewisham Way, the New Cross Gyratory and New Cross Road and buses will re-route via Lewisham Road.
Brookmill Road is due to re-open on December 8.
