ORGANISERS are hoping their annual summer festival will be the most exciting yet.
Last year’s Forest Fest attracted more than 4,000 people and highlights this year include a writer’s workshop with Bafta-winning playwright Roy Williams plus a performance from jazz band Tomorrow’s Warriors.
There will be hula-hoop, dancing and DJ workshops along with stalls, exhibitions and school performances.
Youngsters can enjoy circus skills workshops, face-painting and a giant game of snakes and ladders.
It all takes place on July 2 from noon until 5pm at Forest Hill School, Dacres Road.
The festival is supported by the Perry Vale and Forest Hill assemblies, Forest Hill School PTA and Sydenham Arts Festival.
Admission is 50p for children and £1.50 for adults.
