ALL the noise and excitement of the English Civil War comes to Bexley this weekend when the Royalist army of Charles 1 sets up its garrison at Hall Place.

Drill displays will take place at noon and 1.30pm each day with the main battlefield action at 3pm.

Hall Place’s Tudor mansion will also be open for people to tour its museum, galleries and exhibitions.
