VOTERS took to the polls last Thursday and firmly rejected proposed electoral reforms.
Bromley’s electorate was asked whether or not they backed the alternative vote system rather than the current first past the post system.
The turnout for the borough was 41.3 per cent with 95,080 putting a cross in a box to have their say.
This say was predominantly no with only 27,286 people saying yes to reform compared to the 67,671 voting to keep the current system.
There were 123 spoilt papers.
