A ROMAN Villa in north Kent will be opening up for an evening as part of a national cultural event.
Lullingstone Roman Villa, in Lullingstone Lane, Eynsford, will open between 6pm and 9pm on May 13 as part of the Arts Council’s museums at night campaign.
Visitors to the English Heritage site can meet experts in Roman artefacts and see the villa’s ruins.
Museums at night ambassador Lauren Laverne said: “Museums at night is a fantastic initiative that really makes museums and galleries accessible, fun and interesting.
“It is so important to encourage a new generation to support and embrace arts and heritage in the UK.”
Entry costs £5.90 for adults, £3.50 for children or £15.30 for a family ticket. To book, call 0870 3331187.
