STAFF members at a north Kent hospital marked national Earth Day by planting new trees in its grounds.
The group, from BMI Fawkham Manor Hospital, in Manor Lane, Longfield, joined in the environmental campaign day on April 22.
Fawkham Manor Hospital’s executive director ,Valerie Power said: “We wanted to do something that would celebrate our success in reducing the hospital’s energy consumption.
“By planting trees we have been able to mark the hospital’s achievements over the last two years while also serving as a reminder to our staff that these initiatives have to be maintained in the future.”
