FIREFIGHTERS from Beckenham were kept busy dealing with two arson attacks overnight.

The first call came at around midnight when they went to a car fire in Crystal Palace Park Road, Sydenham.

It took them around 20 minutes to deal with the Land Rover which was completely gutted by the flames.

They were then called to a shed fire at the bottom of a garden in Kent House Road, Kent House.

Flames from the blazing building spread to two neighbouring fences and various bits of garden furniture.

Crews were called to the scene at around 2.50am and were there for around an hour.

Both incidents are being investigated by the police.
