AN Easter Fair has raised £5,789 for Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice.
Around 1,500 people attended the event at Eltham Park South yesterday (April 25).
Activities on offer included a giant Easter egg hunt, numerous stalls and displays including Tan’Gun Taekwondo Martial Arts.
Community fundraiser at the Hospice, Susan Adams, said: “The Easter Fair was our first major outdoor event of the year so we really wanted some good weather.
“We were lucky - it was warm and sunny and perfect for Easter egg hunts and outdoor activities. Thanks to everyone who supported it.”
The next fundraising event will be a sponsored walk on May 8, which starts and finishes at Bostall Heath, Abbey Wood.
Pre-event registration costs £10 per adult, £5 per child (aged five to 15) and under 5's go free.
Registration for adults on the day costs £15.
