WITH another long weekend looming, it will be welcome back for a popular attraction guaranteed to keep the children entertained.
Following the excitement of the royal wedding street parties, Belvedere’s free splash park reopens for the summer on Saturday (April 30).
To celebrate, a variety of activities have been organised on the day, taking place between noon and 3pm.
These include a bouncy castle, arts and crafts, face painting and a nature trail.
The park, in Woolwich Road, Belvedere, will be open daily from 11am to 5pm until September 30 and includes a refreshment kiosk, changing facilities and lots of family picnic space.
But parking is limited and people are advised to walk or use public transport.
