CHILDREN at a book club continued raising money for victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami by selling sushi.
Youngsters at Petts Wood’s Chibikko Bunko, a club where children learn about Japanese culture, sold traditional Japanese food at Warren Road Primary School in Orpington.
They made £593, taking the total the 16 children at the club have raised so far to £1,827, which will be donated to charity Save The Children’s relief fund for Japan.
Club organiser Keiko Beney said: “We are grateful for any contribution to this cause, to bring some relief and hope to children in Japan at this difficult time.”
