ROYAL wedding visitors travelling to London by train can expect to see extra services to get them to the church on time.

Southeastern has announced it will run a Saturday timetable on Friday April 29 to transport people from Kent to the capital for Prince William’s marriage to Kate Middleton.

Two extra high speed services will also run between Dover Priory and Margate to London, while metro services to Charing Cross and Victoria could be lengthened to carry more passengers.

The firm is also offering a 20 per cent discount on all off-peak train tickets purchased at southeasternrailway.co.uk before May 2.

A Southeastern spokesman said: “We are expecting that the services will be busy, especially in the morning, so would advise that you allow plenty of time.”
