TRAFFIC: Motorcycle accident causes queues on A2

A motorcyclist was air lifted to hospital this morning following an accident on the A2 London-bound near Dartford.

The motorcyclist suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries in the crash at 7.55am this morning by the A018 slip road.

Traffic was queued up until 9am whilst the carriageway was closed to allow a helicopter to land.

The road is now open as normal.
