NIGHT Stalker rapist Delroy Grant has been told he will receive a "very long" sentence for carrying out a 17-year campaign of sex attacks and burglaries on pensioners across south east London.
Grant was convicted of 29 offences including 16 burglaries, two attempted burglaries, three rapes, one attempted rape, six indecent assaults and one sexual assault.
The 53-year-old from Brockley was found guilty of all charges by a majority of 10 to two.
Judge Peter Rook QC told Grant: “You have been convicted of 29 offences of the utmost gravity. I’m not going to sentence you today.
“You should appreciate that the sentence you will receive will be what is called an indeterminate sentence and the minimum sentence will be very long indeed.”
Grant's attacks relate to 18 separate incidents at homes in Bromley, Beckenham, Orpington, Forest Hill and Croydon between 1992 and 2009.
He will be sentenced tomorrow at Woolwich Crown Court.
