A PRIMARY school was turned into a fantasy world when youngsters dressed up as their favourite book characters.
Pupils at St Peter and St Paul Catholic Primary School in Orpington dressed up as Harry Potter, Cinderella, Fantastic Mr Fox and many more of their favourites to celebrate World Book Day.
They also unveiled their We Are Writers book, which contains a piece of writing from every child in the school, and copies were snapped up by their proud parents.
Teacher Rachelle Hughes said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed the day, especially dressing up, playing make believe and bringing reading to life.
“It was certainly a day to remember for children, teachers and parents.”
