POLICE are warning motorists to be safety conscious after two expensive cars were stolen from driveways.
Bromley police has issued the warning following the theft of two BMWs in the past week after the thieves broke into the motorists’ homes and took their car keys.
The cars, a blue M3 and a grey M5 worth a combined £80,000, were stolen from addresses in Westgate Road, Beckenham, and Nursery Gardens, Chislehurst.
A police spokesman said: "Always check all windows and doors are locked before going to bed or heading out and keep valuables and car keys out of plain sight.”
