FINDING art in unexpected places was a treat for children at a Belvedere school during their arts week.
Throughout the week at Bedonwell Junior School, children took part in a variety of workshops and activities, learning new skills and showing them off.
Year 6 youngsters learned street dance from DRAMA Academy’s Don Rae, while others took part in African drumming sessions.
There was also the chance to learn and perform a play about Robin Hood in just a day and to play musical instruments made from rubbish, with help from Bexley’s Schools Waste Action Club.
Headteacher Ivor Gordo said: “This arts week has been a tremendous success and given the pupils a chance to experience many new and exciting things.”
