POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious sexual assault in Gravesend.
A 20-year-old woman was assaulted within the grounds of The Warren in Valley Drive at around 11.20am on March 10.
The victim had been walking home when she was grabbed by a man and sexually assaulted.
The incident only lasted a few seconds before she was able to escape, but was left extremely distressed.
She has described her attacker as a white male aged in his late 40s or early 50s, 5ft 7in and of medium build.
He had short dark hair and is believed to have been wearing dark clothing.
