PLANS have now been submitted to convert a former pharmaceutical plant into a residential district.
Developers Essential Land want to convert the Glaxo SmithKline site in Mill Pond Road, Temple Hill, into 950 to 1,050 new homes and between 2,500 and 5,00 square metres of commercial space.
The plans were officially submitted to Dartford Council on Monday (March 14) and could also see a new Fastrack bus service linking the site to Temple Hill Square.
Martin Bellinger, partner at Essential Land said: "We have worked hard to prepare a planning application that meets local aspirations.
"We are confident that the proposals will create a great place to live, providing a village feel only moments from the town centre."
