A MISSING psychiatric patient is no longer considered a danger to the public.
Zerdasht Ali was last seen at Royal Bethlem Hospital, Monks Orchard Way, Beckenham, at around 2.45pm on Thursday afternoon (March 10).
Bromley police originally said the 41-year-old man was potentially dangerous and should not be approached by members of the public.
But a spokesman says Mr Ali is now only considered a danger to himself.
Mr Ali is described as being an Iraqi man, about 5ft 9in tall and of thin build.
He has brown eyes and is bald and was last seen wearing a cream coloured shirt, black trainers and a white baseball cap.
The colour of his trousers is not known.
He lives in Thornton Heath and is known to frequent the central, south west and south east London areas.
Anyone who knows where he is should contact Bromley police's missing persons unit on 020 8284 8836 or Missing People on 0500 700700.
The public are advised that if they see Mr Ali, do not approach him but call 999.
