STAFF from several local supermarkets descended on Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice to remind themselves what they have been raising cash for.
Morrisons stores across the country have spent the last year in partnership with the Help the Hospices campaign and each store was twinned with its nearest hospice to raise funds for it.
Staff at its supermarkets in Erith, Welling, Sidcup and Thamesmead were twinned with the Abbey Wood hospice and throughout the past year have raised more than £31,000.
To mark the end of the partnership, workers from the stores dropped in on the hospice to meet staff and volunteers as well as patients who have benefited from their fundraising.
And they could not resist one parting gift, bringing with them a supermarket trolley full of goodies.
