OWNERS of stolen Asian gold jewellery are being urged to come forward and claim their items by police.

Lewisham police arrested three men and a woman in Shroffold Road, Bromley on February 10 on suspicion of burglary.

Following searches of their homes, police found a hoard of gold jewellery, including watches, chains and rings.

The four were released on bail pending further police enquiries, including work to confirm the rightful owner of the items.

Detectives believe the jewellery came from burglaries in Downham or Bromley.

Officers are also urging people who have had jewellery stolen in recent months to come forward and inform the police.
