A TRAINEE film-maker is celebrating after being nominated for a talent award.
Ruth Antoine, of Eddystone Road, Brockley, joined the scheme Second Light, which provides young people with training programmes to help them further their career in film and media.
Miss Antoine, aged 22, who now works full time as a production assistant on a new Warner Bros feature, was nominated for the New Talent Award.
The award ceremony will be hosted by Nick Grimshaw and will take place on March 15 at the Odeon in Leicester Square.
The project is part of First Light, which helps young people from all backgrounds to develop their skills, talent, creativity, confidence and entrepreneurial capabilities.
The organisation provides opportunities for young people to work with industry professionals on youth led digital media projects.
