LEWISHAM youngsters are being invited to compete for a chance to run in the mini London marathon.
Young people aged 11 to 17 who want to take part in the three mile route from London’s Old Billingsgate to The Mall can ‘try out’ to represent their borough.
The trials will be held on March 12 at Ladywell Arena, Silvermere Road, Catford, from 9.45am.
Applications must be sent to Lewisham Council by 5pm on Wednesday (March 9) and those taking part must be available to run in the Virgin Money Giving Mini London Marathon on April 17.
Completed applications forms must be be signed by a parent or guardian and can be sent to, Mini Marathon Trials, Lewisham Sport and Leisure Services, 2nd Floor Laurence House, SE6 4RU.
