MAYOR of London Boris Johnson says he will continue the Freedom Pass scheme if re-elected in May next year.
Mr Johson has promised to maintain the free travel pass for elderly and disabled people, which is used by more residents in Bromley than any other London borough.
More than 1.15 millions people across London use the pass, with 63,908 in Bromley enjoying the free travel scheme.
Mr Johnson said: "The Freedom Pass is vital for more than a million people in London. That is why it is 100 per cent guaranteed with us, 1,000 per cent guaranteed.
“Indeed, the fact it has become a lifeline for so many is why this administration extended it to 24 hours.”
