A 41-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Siobhan Kelly, who was found dead at her home in Anerley.

Unemployed Stephen Foad, of Foxhill Lane, Upper Norwood, appeared at Greenwich Magistrates’ Court yesterday, and was committed to the Old Bailey for a hearing on June 6.

Miss Kelly’s body was found on February 7 when police were called to her flat in Kendall Court, Tudor Road, because her relatives were concerned after not hearing from her for several weeks.

It is believed the 39-year-old had been dead for several weeks, and a post-mortem examination at Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, gave a provisional cause of death as internal haemorrhaging due to blunt force trauma.
