Motorcyclist seriously ill after Orpington crash
A MOTORCYCLIST was airlifted to hospital after sustaining head injuries in a crash in Orpington this morning.
He was treated at the scene in Farnborough Way before being airlifted to Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
The accident involving a yellow Mercedes articulated lorry and a silver Honda motorbike happened at around 8am this morning (February 9) at the junction of Tubbenden Lane.
There is severe traffic disruption in the area as Farnborough Way remains closed.
