A PHOTOGRAPHY enthusiast is hoping readers can help him track down people in this picture.

Doug Tizzard has unearthed this decades old snapshot of Girl Guides at a summer camp and wants to track them down.

Photo transparencies, or slides, were used by amateurs until around 1970, when print film displaced them.

More than 30 pictures were found in a shop in Shooter's Hill containing images taken at a Girl Guide summer camp.

Out of curiosity Mr Tizzard, 79, had a print made of the group image and is intrigued to know if anyone recognises themselves from up to 45 years ago.

Mr Tizzard is willing to give the other 34 transparencies to people featured in the picture.
