A FORMER deputy headteacher has pleaded guilty to possessing and making indecent images of children.

Ken Browne, aged 60, of South Row, Blackheath, was arrested on July 29 last year in Brighton where he taught at Dorothy Stringer High School.

He appeared at Lewes Crown Court on January 20 facing six charges of possessing and six charges of making indecent images.

Browne will be sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on February 24.
