TWO men aged 78 and 55 have each been fined £100 after being caught having oral sex in a public toilet.

Two police officers found 78-year-old James Watson performing oral sex on 55-year-old Robert Brown in the public toilet in Ashmore Lane in Leaves Green, Biggin Hill, at around 2.20pm on January 7.

Watson, of Warren Road in Chelsfield, and Brown, from Canvey Island in Essex, were both sentenced at Bromley Magistrates' Court today (Jan 18) after pleading guilty to engaging in sexual activity in a public lavatory.

Nick Measure, prosecuting, told the court: "There has been a history of conduct of this nature at the lavatories in Leaves Green."

He said Watson “had gone to Biggin Hill to buy resin for a model aeroplane” before going to the toilet.

Mr Measure said: “He said he entered the toilet and found three males there and saw they were masturbating.”

Watson was then approached by Brown and began performing oral sex on him, the court heard.

Sukie Dhonata, representing Watson, said he was “deeply upset and ashamed by the whole incident”.

She added: “He is a man who has now lost his good name. He says he cannot explain how this happened but he is remorseful.”

Selina Goddard, representing Brown, said he is “anxious to say he did not go there with the purpose”of engaging in sexual activity.

She said Brown, who lives with his mother and has cancer, was “mortified” about having to appear in court.
