A 40-YEAR-OLD man has been accused of committing a rape which occurred 10 years ago.
David William Clark, aged 40, of Bryant Road, West Kingsdown, appeared at Woolwich Magistrates' Court on August 12.
Clark is charged with the rape of a 36-year-old woman.
The offence is alleged to have been committed at a cricket ground in Watts Lane, Chislehurst, on December 17, 1996.
No plea was entered and Clark was remanded in custody to appear before Croydon Crown Court.
