BEXLEY people are being urged to nominate councillors who they think deserve to be rcognised for “going that extra mile”.
Think tank the Local Government Information Unit and CCLA which manages local authority and charitable funds, run the annual C’llr Achievement Awards.
There are nine categories including for council leader, young councillor, new councillor, scrutineer,online councillor, community champion, sustainability champion, partnership achievement and oustanding contribution to financial performance.
The deadline for nominations is 5pm on January 7 and they will be judged by leading figures in local government.
