A SURVEY has found that Cheryl Cole is ‘right up our street’ when it comes to being rescued in a breakdown.

Dartford motorists picked the Girls Aloud and X Factor star as the celebrity they would most like to come to their rescue.

The singer - not famed for her practical skills - was top pick for 36 per cent of those questioned by Goodyear and Mountain Rescue.

Take That singer Robbie Williams was the most popular male celebrity.

Goodyear spokeswoman Michelle Fisher said the results showed “great concern”.

She added: “It’s important that drivers across Dartford know how best to prepare for the difficult driving conditions, as a little basic preparation can prevent incidents that require the help of breakdown and emergency services.”
