Despite having to cancel their annual senior citizens xmas party due to adverse weather Biggin Hill & Westerham Lions are still having a busy December.
On Thursday (16th December) the Club were collecting for Harris HospisCare in Tesco Orpington and raised nearly £200. Spokesman Malcolm Lowing said "We are very grateful to Tesco's for allowing us to collect in the store and to their shoppers, and indeed staff, for their generousity.
The Club's Christmas activities continue on Xmas Eve when they will be collecting outside Tesco in Main Road, Biggin Hill. The Lions need new members to enable them to maintain this level of activity (and to share the fun and fellowship).
