CHRISTMAS cards, wrapping paper and trees can all be recycled this year, the council has said.
People can check if their wrapping paper is recyclable by scrunching it up and seeing if it stays crumpled. If so, it can be put in the recycling bin.
Leftovers from your turkey dinner can be put into the brown bin.
You can also leave Christmas trees next to the brown bin Larger trees should be cut in half first.
Revised dates for refuse and recycling collections over Christmas and the New Year are being placed on the handles of wheelie bins.
In the event of severe weather visit bexley.gov.uk for updates.
