A MAN was found hanging from a footbridge this morning (November 30) close to Slade Green train station.
British Transport Police attended Slade Green station at around 5.31am after a report of a man’s body hanging from a footbridge.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service also attended but the man, believed to be in his forties, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers are working to identify the man and to establish the exact circumstances surrounding his death.
The incident is currently being treated as unexplained.
A file is being prepared for the coroner.
