INSPIRED by the sounds of The Killers and the Arctic Monkeys, the Van Susans are aiming for the big time.
Band members Olly Andrews, Olly Groome and brothers Tim, Ed and Rob Dullaway have been signed up by record label Beatnik Geek Records.
Their new single Bones is due to be released on December 6.
Singer and rhythm guitarist Olly Andrew says the song was inspired by him falling 10ft after he climbed up a drainpipe to his girlfriend’s bedroom window.
Olly, who was drunk at the time, says he was very lucky to escape with just a broken wrist.
The 21-year-old, who lives in Coney Hill Road, Coney Hall, said: “We want to be the next big thing.”
Bones can be bought on iTunes.
