SCHOOLCHILDREN from Orpington have been given art supplies from Mayor of London Boris Johnson after excelling in a competition.
Pupils at Warren Road Primary School received the prizes from the mayor at City Hall after taking part in the National Association for Gallery Education’s Look Out London competition.
The competition encouraged children to create artwork inspired by their surroundings, and the creations by the Warren Road students were chosen as the best in Bromley.
Mr Johnson said: “Congratulations to all the children from Bromley. Drawing is not about being the best, it's about putting across the way you feel, right there, in the moment.”
