After spending years grappling with frizzy hair and buying practically every product on the shelf I was thrilled to read about an exciting new hair treatment on the market which had been used and loved by celebrities such as Halle Berry, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie..
After some research I found a salon near me that offered the La Brasiliana treatment and went along to Sin Hairdressers to investigate.
La Brasiliana is a special hair treatment that is increasingly being used to transform wiry, lacklustre hair into soft, smooth and polished locks. The product is enriched with Keratin proteins that not just smoothes but strengthens the hair. Unlike other harsh chemically- supplemented hair treatments , La Brasiliana does not take away the natural texture of your wavy hair.
First my hair was washed with a mild shampoo, rough dried and Keratin was applied to the hair cuticles. Then each small part of my hair was carefully dried and heated irons sealed the process.
And that was it. It was difficult at this stage to imagine the results as my hair just felt like it normally would after visiting your favourite hairdressers. I was told not to wash, get my hair wet or even tie it up for four days, for the best results. So I left with soft and maybe a little heavy hair, but excited about what could be the end of the frizz!
Day four arrived and the results were amazing, my follicles not only seemed really smooth and soft, but after blow drying were so shiny! It’s been three weeks now and I am as pleased today as I was three weeks ago.
I have plenty of feedback from people who have been pleased with it for up to four months, so I will certainly be going back for my next session.
At £150 it might seem expensive, but the results make it worth every penny.
