PRIMARY school children played host to a variety of wild creatures including a skunk and a tarantula during an unusual day of entertainment.
The Parent Teacher Association at Holy Trinity CofE School in Burnt Oak Lane, Sidcup, organised and paid for the Christian children’s entertainer Duggie Dug Dug’s visit to the school.
The theme of the day was Our Amazing Planet and involved a mix of stories, songs, puppets and an introduction to the animals which also included a snake and an owl.
Headteacher Robin Aldcroft said: “This was a fantastic and thought provoking day, enjoyed by all the children.”
