SHOCKING footage has been released of a man kicking a dog as he drags it up a hill.

The footage was taken by a member of the public on October 1 at Knee Hill Park in Abbey Wood at around 4.20pm.

Outrage over the footage which is on YouTube has caused a Facebook page to be created.

Help find the man who kicked dog in Knee Hill Park, appeals to internet users to “help find this monster” and call the RSPCA with any information.

Comments left by viewers on both YouTube and Facebook express disgust and anger at the way in which the helpless animal is being treated and call for the man to be brought to justice.

RSPCA Inspector Vicky Dawe said: "The footage is extremely shocking as it shows what appears to be a man deliberately kicking the dog with some considerable force.

“We are hoping that someone will recognise the person in the video and contact us with more information so we can find out who is responsible.

“Anyone with any information should contact the RSPCA so we can stop this dog from any potential further suffering."

The RSPCA are hunting the man seen kicking the dog. He is described as in his late teens to early 20s, tall, slim, white and was wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans.

They are investigating this incident and appealing for anyone with any information to call their 24 hour cruelty line on 0300 1234 999
