DETECTIVES are hunting a man who attacked four people with a stick outside Bromley North station.
Two men and two women were struck by the stick, thought to be a tree branch, causing no real injuries other than superficial reddening.
One of the victims, William Bush, had just got off the 119 bus with his partner and three-year-old son when he was hit.
Mr Bush, aged 24, from Croydon, said: “The guy walked by me and my partner as I put my son in his strap.
“He pulled a branch off a tree and started hitting me on the back of my legs.
“It was quite painful.
“He then went off attacking more people.”
He added: “I was shocked, my son was screaming and shaking.
“My concern is he could go on and do it to someone else as he’s still at large.”
Police say their suspect is described as a black man, aged late 20s to early 30s, about 5ft 9in tall with a short black afro hairstyle.
They believe he was wearing a dark hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and black and white trainers.
Police have recovered the stick and are downloading CCTV following the incident at around 1.30pm on Tuesday.
Anyone with any information should call Bromley police on 01689 891212.
