A BADGE showing Greenwich’s meridian line has been released to commemorate the 2012 Olympics.
The momento of Greenwich Park is part of an eight badge set - one for each of the Royal Parks.
Greenwich Park has been controversially chosen as the venue for Olympic equestrian events in 2012.
The badges are individually priced at £6 or £60 for a set. Funds raised from selling them will be put back into maintenance of the parks.
Programme director Liz Mullins said: “We believe that these new commemorative badges, which show an iconic element of each of the eight Royal Parks, will be very popular and make great souvenirs.”
They can be bought from the Royal Parks at royalparksstore.org.uk
