QPR have completed a double signing after wrapping up deals for Nigerian midfielder Egutu Oliseh and Polish forward Adam Czerkas.

Both players stood out to manager Gary Waddock whilst on trial and did enough to earn a deal at Loftus Road.

The 25-year old signed a two-year contract having spent last season with Belgian outfit La Louviere, after previous spells in France with Nancy, Louhans-Cuiseau, Beauvais and Grenoble.

He said: "From the very first day I came here to train I have been impressed. It is all so organised.

"Everything is calculated, from the physical trainer through to the manager. If training continues in this way, I'm sure you will see the best from every one of us."

Waddock now has a wealth of options at his disposal and is excited about seeing his latest signing in action.

He said: "He's really impressed me in training and against Aldershot in the friendly. He's attack minded and technically very good.

"I'm looking forward to having every manager's favourite dilemma picking my best eleven."

The new signing's arrival has fuelled speculation that Marc Bircham is on the verge of leaving Rangers. The Canadian international is rumoured to be in talks with Birmingham and Swansea.

Meanwhile, 22-year old Czerkas comes on a season- long loan deal from Polish club Kolporter Korona SSA with Rangers having the option of signing the striker permanently at the end of the season.

Waddock was understandably delighted about sealing his fifth summer signing.

He said: "It's no secret we've been on the lookout for a striker for months, not just weeks, and our patience has been rewarded.

"He's got a great eye for goal, has terrific movement, is good with his back to goal and has the unique ability of being able to get in behind defenders.

"We've got extremely high hopes for him."

Elsewhere, chairman Gianni Paladini has continued to emphasize that Danny Shittu will not leave the club for less than £3million, the price in his contract clause.

Shittu was the subject of a £2million offer from Watford and has been tracked by Sheffield Utd and West Brom but Paladini has refused to budge.

He said: "Joleon Lescott went for £5m and Claude Davis went for £2.5m. Danny is a better defender than both of them and will definitely stay here unless someone offers £3m. It really is as simple as that."
