Desperados….

Murray & Inci Ketenci open their new Mexican Restaurant Desperados on 30th September in Station Square, Petts Wood. Murray, who is of Mexican origin, has travelled around the world training as a chef, before owning their first restaurant in Angel, North London.

Generous helpings, quality food, a fun atmosphere, are the order of the day. Desperados serve healthy food, not too heavy and you will find no processed meat. Murray himself goes to the markets weekly to source fresh quality products.

Desperados is open 7 days a week, from 12pm – 10.30pm. The Lunch menu is served from 12-5pm, so you can pop in at any time, for drinks, light bites, lunch or full menus. It is the perfect, relaxed, venue to pop in with the children, for an early tea. Or, is also the place to spend a fun packed evening, catching up with friends and family in a lively atmosphere with music playing in the background. There is a 2 course lunch special at £9.95 and the Sunday lunch with 3 courses.

All the decor is authentic Mexican, the bar is made of 120 years old, thick ancient wood. All the artefacts on the wall are from Mexico, as are the pictures of the mariachi dancers. The tables and chairs are all hand made from Mexican root.

The restaurant can seat up to 55 people, the atmosphere will be sparkling with Latin music, full of energy just like the famous Mexican Salsa dancing. There is an extensive Cocktail list, from International to Latino cocktails, all hand picked by Murray. They have 20 different types of Tequila behind the bar, including the most expensive brand in the world. So pop down anytime, day or night, to experience the full Mexican hospitality and party atmosphere.
