TWO police officers and a member of the public were seriously injured in a car crash in Woolwich yesterday (September 27).
All three needed to be cut out of their vehicles after the collision in John Wilson Street at the junction of Wellington Street.
Three ambulance crews attended the scene.
A 27-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man were taken to Queen Elizabeth and a 37-year-old man was taken to Royal London hospital.
The accident happened at around 4.30pm and firefighters from Woolwich and Plumstead fire stations left the scene by around 6.15pm.
Both officers have since been discharged from hospital.
The police car was on an emergency call when the incident happened.
