This week's News Shopper Thursday Issue discussion asks whether off-road vehicles should be banned on urban roads. Have your say and add your comments below.
The Thursday Issue is very simple. Each week we put a controversial question or suggestion to you, and ask if you agree or disagree with it.
Here is this week's:
There should be a ban on 4x4 off-road type vehicles in built-up areas. They are too big, too dangerous to other road users and too gas-guzzling, but above all they look stupid travelling around without a spec of mud on their bodywork.
Now it's over to you. Do you own one of these vehicles? If so do you use it for off-road adventures or is it just for shopping trips and school runs? To everyone else, have you had any bad experiences with these tank-like cars? Should there be restrictions on them in towns?
Check News Shopper's website every lunchtime for a new daily opinion column. Friday will be a sport rant. Monday is the Shopper Rant on a topical news story. Tuesday is entertainment day and Wednesday's rant is written by a reader. Be sure to have your say if you agree or disagree with what you read.

I don't think ALL 4x4s should be banned in towns - only those driven by women. Women just can't handle large cars because they lack the spatial awareness that comes naturally to men. You can read all about women drivers in my latest blog in 'Opinion & Blogs': 'WOMEN DRIVERS: The curse of mankind'.

Has anyone else noticed that the bigger the 4x4, the smaller the woman behind the wheel? Most of them are completely unable to handle these massive vehicles but don't care because they feel untouchable in their urban tanks.
(By the way, I am a woman and a good driver with a 32-year clean record so no sexist allegations please)

Not all 4x4 drivers should be tared and feathered with the same brush.
It's irrelevant who's behind the wheel - 4x4s are gas-guzzling, polluting and dangerous vehicles in a city environment - and completely unnecessary. I would be surprised if any of those you see around in London are ever used for off-road activities, they are nothing more than a ridiculous status symbol. And the image they create? 'I'm an ignorant idiot who cares nothing for the environment or other road users, utterly self-obsessed, that's me!'.

If more money than sense idiots want to drive status symbols with naff personalised number plates then let them show off their bank balances. However, come to Hayes and watch the Mums do the school run in these, mounting the kerbs and doing 6 point turns in the road almost knocking down the schoolkids while on the phone booking a fake tan appointment and then you might think it is other peoples business.
I think you should let people live their lives how they wish. We are increasingly becoming a nation of busy bodies engaged in meddling in other peoples business. You are of course being herded to do so, I advise you to begin to think for yourselves and concentrate of your own, perhaps less than perfect, lives.
