A PREHISTORIC dinosaur has been let loose in Crystal Palace Park.
“Tyrone the Recycled Rex” is made from recycled domestic appliances and is being used to encourage people to recycle their old kitchen appliances.
The four meter dinosaur marks the launch of Recycle Week, which has been organised by national recycling campaign Recycle Now.
Kitchen appliance company Indesit got the dino in place for the awareness week between June 21 and June 27 with the support of Bromley Council.
Laura Underwood from Recycle Now said: “We encourage everyone to recycle their old electrical appliances once they reach the end of their useful life.
“This way the valuable materials can be given a new lease of life as something else.“ The dinosaur will be at the park until July 2.
